Production
Smurfit Kappa Hoya produces 295,000 tons containerboard mainly testliner, craftliner, fluting as well as 81,000 tons white lined chipboard per annum. Both mills have a common infrastructure.
The most part of the 330 employees are working in a six shift system. 170 of them are working in the paper, the other 160 in the board department. Smurfit Kappa Hoya is the biggest employer in the town.
