Smurfit Kappa GmbH – the paper and board mill in Hoya monitors products during production, following a predetermined test procedure within its in-house laboratories and - depending on the specification, in compliance with valid standard test methods. These activities form the basis for our constant optimisation process.

An integrative Managementsystem of Occupational Health and Safety and Quality and Environmental System is installed. In January 2009 got the location Hoya the Certificates for all this managementsystems with the elements of ISO 9001, EN ISO 14001 und BS OHSAS 18001.

Since January 2007 Smurfit Kappa Hoya has the certification "Good Manufacturing Practice" (GMP).

Special tests (e.g. blister test, Robinson test, Dennison) are performed if required by customers.

Our customer service and operation development people are at all times prepared to meet specific customer require-ments, to realise these by thorough machine and to monitor the subsequent processing at the customer’s own premises.
