Corporate Guidelines

These guidelines describe our company's operating principles with regard to occupational safety and health, environmental protection, quality and hygiene. They are intended as a guide for all processes within the scope of our operational activities, are binding for all staff members and for third parties commissioned by us.

Our operating principles

We see ourselves as a company for which occupational safety and health, environmental protection, quality and hygiene are important components of our operational activities. In accordance with the principles of the Smurfit Kappa Group, we seek to maintain a continuous commitment in these areas, and pledge to meet the statutory requirements and, wherever it is economically possible and appropriate, even to exceed them:

  • to keep safety risks and health risks as low as possible,
  • to reduce the environmental impact of our activities,
  • to supply products and services of impeccable quality that meets customer requirements,
  • to carry out production according to appropriate hygiene standards.

In accordance with these operating principles, it is our concern to be a good employer, supplier, customer, point of contact and neighbour.

Our corporate strategy

In order to enable continuous improvement, we set ourselves verifiable goals and make them readily available throughout the company. Thus all staff members and visitors can get an overview of the status of implementation of our goals at any time.

When introducing new processes, activities and products, we examine their consequences in advance, and use the best technology available to us.

We take our responsibility as a supplier for the food industry seriously, and supply products that can be used without hesitation in the field of food packaging.

Apprenticeships, advanced training, and supporting our staff members' career development are high priorities in our company.

Our central activities

Within the framework of our integrated management system, we regularly examine and assess all of the relevant consequences for people, the product and the environment.

All incidents are systematically documented, investigated, evaluated and communicated. In addition, the results of risk assessments and inspections (audits) that are performed are used in order to improve our operational processes.

The management system covers not only our own staff, but also contractual partners and visitors working at our location.

We have our management system examined by external experts in order to determine additional opportunities for improvement.
